Wine find: Henschke Henry's Seven

This is a well known Aussie vineyard that has been making wine for five generations. Now run by a husband and wife team, they create exceptional wines.

This mellow red has soft plum and berry notes with a hint of chocolate, yet is light enough to enjoy by itself without food. And because it is not too heavy, it is a perfect compliment for a cheese tray on a summer night.

It is a blend of Shiraz, Grenache and Viognier and while not necessarily a bargain at about $30, it is a really lovely wine and I was happy to discover it.
